Elite One Sport is a Perth-based service helping aspiring footballers explore university education and football opportunities in the USA and UK. We respect your privacy and aim to be clear about what we collect, why we need it, and how you can contact us about it.

1. Who we are

“Elite One Sport”, “we” and “us” refer to the operator of the Elite One Sport website and enquiry service based in Perth, Western Australia. For privacy questions, contact greg@eliteonesport.com.

2. Information we collect

When you complete our initial application form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender selection, sport selection, preferred pathway (USA, UK or both/not sure), and your confirmation about being contacted. We may also hold any further information that you choose to share with us by email or during subsequent conversations.

When you visit our website, technical information such as your IP address or browser information may be processed by our website hosting provider to deliver and secure the website. We do not currently operate our own advertising tracking or analytics scripts on the site.

3. Why we use information

We use enquiry details to read and respond to applications, contact you or your parent or guardian where appropriate, explore potentially suitable football and education pathways, administer conversations or agreed services, and maintain reasonable business records. We do not use the initial application form to subscribe you automatically to a marketing newsletter.

4. Under-18 applicants

Some prospective players are under 18. Our application form asks under-18 applicants to confirm that they have discussed the enquiry with a parent or guardian. We may ask for parent or guardian involvement before progressing an application or collecting additional information. Parents or guardians can contact us at greg@eliteonesport.com with questions about an under-18 enquiry.

5. Service providers and overseas handling

Our website is hosted by Netlify. Initial application details are sent through FormSubmit to our business email at greg@eliteonesport.com, which uses Google email services. These providers may process or store information outside Australia. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days in its service; separate copies delivered to our email account are subject to our own handling.

If you decide to progress towards a university or football opportunity, we may discuss what additional details are needed and whether they need to be shared with relevant universities, education providers, sporting contacts or other service providers in Australia, the UK or USA. We will explain the proposed sharing as part of that process rather than treating the initial enquiry as permission for unrestricted disclosure.

6. Storage and retention

We take reasonable steps to limit access to applicant information and use established services to handle website submissions and email. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep enquiry records only while reasonably needed for the purposes described above or to meet applicable legal or business obligations, and review or delete information when no longer needed. There is no fixed retention period promised for individual business email records.

7. Access, correction and deletion requests

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. Email greg@eliteonesport.com. We may need to verify a request before acting, and some information may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate record-keeping needs.

8. Questions and complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please email greg@eliteonesport.com and explain the issue. We will review it and respond. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may also have rights to approach a relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

9. Updates

We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or information-handling practices change. The current version will be available on this page with its last-updated date.
